Paramedic / Pre-Hospital Registered Nurse (MEDIC-I) (Pike County, PA) FULL TIME, PART TIME & PER DIEM 


Delaware Valley Emergency Services is hiring per-diem paramedics and PHRNs for in Delaware Township, Pike County, Pennsylvania (Delaware Township Volunteer Ambulance Corps).

Applicant must have a “clean” background including PSP PATCH check, FBI criminal background check, driving history check, and Child Abuse (PA Childline) screening. Applicant must pass an employee health screening including a drug test, physical examination, and physical agility testing. Titer testing, TB testing, and required vaccinations provided are required and provided at no cost.

Minimum Qualifications:

At least 20 years old.
Valid driver’s license.
Current Pennsylvania Paramedic or PHRN certification.
CPR for Healthcare Providers (course must be recognized/approved by the Bureau of EMS).
Emergency Vehicle Driver Training Course or approved equivalent.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Most recent Pennsylvania Emergency Medical Services Protocol Update Module.
One year of verifiable EMS experience at the advanced life support level.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Training Requirements Upon Hire

Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support or equivalent.
Introduction to Incident Command System, ICS-100.
National Incident Management System, An Introduction, ICS-700.
ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents, IS-200.
National Response Framework, IS-800
Fire Extinguisher Training
HIPPA Training
Bloodborne Pathogens Training

Delaware Valley Emergency Services is hiring a per-diem Emergency Medical Services Vehicle Operator for various locations in eastern Pike County, Pennsylvania. 

Applicant must have a “clean” background including PSP PATCH check, FBI criminal background check, driving history check, and Child Abuse (PA Childline) screening. Applicant must pass an employee health screening including a drug test, physical examination, and physical agility testing. Minimum Qualifications:

Emergency Vehicle Driver Training Course or approved equivalent (DVES can provide training upon hire)

CPR certification for Healthcare Providers (DVES can provide training upon hire)
High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Eighteen (18) years of age or older.
No addiction to alcohol or drugs.
Free from any physical or mental defect or disease that may impair the person’s ability to drive a ground EMS vehicle.
A clean driving history including, but not limited to no conviction of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs within the last five (5) years; no convictions for reckless driving within the last three (3) years; no suspension of their driver’s license suspended due to use of drugs or alcohol or moving traffic within the last three (3) years.

Delaware Valley Emergency Services is hiring Emergency Medical Technician-Basics at multiple locations in Pike County, PA (Milford Fire Department, Delaware Township Volunteer Ambulance Corps)!
